General Guidelines for Bodywork Sessions
Time and Space
Here you’ll find an overview of the structure of the Bodywork Sessions. I’m usually able to offer in-person sessions on Tuesdays during the day at fz* in Freiburg.
If Tuesdays during the day don’t work for you, feel free to contact me at politischekoerper[at]riseup.net. We’ll then find an alternative time.
I’m also happy to work online. This has the advantage that I can support people from anywhere in the world.
Accessibility
- The fz* is wheelchair-accessible, and the restroom is equipped with a grab bar.
- There are two accessible parking spaces on Faulerstraße. These are approximately 30 meters from the entrance.
- The nearest bus stops are: Theater Freiburg, Erbprinzenstraße, and Freiburg Train Station. All are approximately 700 meters from the fz*. All bus stops have wayfinding signage and are wheelchair-accessible.
- Assistants and service animals are welcome.
- If you’re a trans and/or intersex person and don’t feel comfortable at fz*, please feel free to contact me. We’ll see if we can work something out or find another space.
- Since fz* is not accessible to endo-cis men, I’ll find another space if needed. If you’re an endo-cis man and would like to work with me, please feel free to reach out.
- I’m happy to offer sessions in English and German. For all other languages, we’d need interpreters.
- Infection control: Please stay home if you have clear cold or COVID-19 symptoms. If you’re feeling slightly under the weather, please let me know beforehand. We can hold sessions if you get tested and, if necessary, one of us wears an FFP2 mask. Wearing a mask for your own protection is very welcome.
- If the price of my sessions is not accessible to you, please contact me anyway. In some situations, I offer sessions at a reduced rate or even for free.
If you have other access needs, please feel free to email me at politischekoerper[at]riseup.net.
Pricing Policy for Bodywork Sessions
Prices are based on a “sliding scale” model, based on self-assessment and the principle of solidarity. Sessions paid for by people who can afford to pay more, make sessions possible for people who can spend less. In addition to the regular prices, there is a limited number of discounted sessions available for people who otherwise could not afford to participate.
My standard rates for 2 hours are as follows:
Reduced Rate
If you have trouble meeting your basic needs and have little disposable income, you pay:
80 € / Session
Most popular
Regular Rate
If you can meet your basic needs and have disposable income, you pay:
120 € / Session
Supporter Rate
If you can comfortably meet your basic needs and regularly have a lot of disposable income, you pay:
160 € / Session
Cancellation Policy: if you have to cancel your session unexpectedly, do so at least 24 hours ahead of the session. Otherwise I have to charge a cancellation fee of 50 €.
FAQs
Frequently asked questions
How do I know how much to pay?
Financial Orientation (adapted from Daria from accoutabilitymapping.com)

– you travel regularly in your free time
– you have access to your family’s money and resources in times of need
– you choose to work part-time
– you have earning potential (even if you’re not currently using it) due to one (or more) college degrees, a non-disabled body, your ethnicity, your gender, social networks, family connections…

Zahle weniger, wenn:
– you receive government assistance
– people are financially dependent on you
– you have no savings
– you have been incarcerated
– you work illegally to survive
– you have significant debt that prevents you from meeting your basic needs
– you have limited access to money due to abuse
– you have a chronic illness or disability that affects your ability to earn an income

– you are an older adult with limited financial support
– you lack access to health care
What if I can’t afford €80?
In addition to the three price tiers, there is a limited number of sessions available for people for whom the solidarity price is too high. I know that €80 is a lot of money for many marginalized people, and I want my services to be accessible to you even if you have limited funds. If you’re interested in a session but can’t afford it at this price, please feel free to email me at politischekoerper[at]riseup.net.
Where does your money go?
- Per session, between 22 and 30 euros go toward the room rental for the fz*.
- A portion of the session fee covers recurring expenses, such as hosting this website or materials used during the session.
- Finally, the remaining amount goes to me as the practitioner for my time, which amounts to 2.5–3.5 hours per session (depending on whether a preliminary consultation is needed, how much communication takes place beforehand, etc.).
- -> With the solidarity session price of 80 euros, I’m left with an hourly wage of about 15 euros before taxes.
